Title of the project: “Development of novel mosquitocidal biopesticide from actinomycetes” funded by UGC, New Delhi, Government of India. 

Name of the post: Project Fellow (1- General) 

Essential Qualification: The minimum essential qualification would be M.Sc., Zoology/any life sciences subject with CSIR/NET (or) working experience in entomology is preferable. 

Salary: Rs. 14,000/- month (Non-NET/GATE) or Rs. 16.000/- month (NET/GATE/GPAT) for a period of 3 years (purely temporary)

• Short listed candidates will be called for interview based on the eligibility criteria and the appointment is purely temporary.

Qualification & Experience:

Essential: (i )Matriculation or its equivalent; (ii)Possession of First Class Master Certificate under Inland Steam Vessels Act, 1917 (1 of 1917)  

(OR)

(ii)Possession of Certificate of Competency as Master of a Steam Vessel having engine of any nominal Horse Power, (or) of a Motor vessel having engines of any Break Horse Power, issue by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Ports Harbour Crafts Rules. 

(iii)Three years experience in handling vessels with above capacity;

(iv) Knowledge of Swimming. 

(v)Should pass the trade test prescribed and conducted by the Port 

Age limit:30 years (as on 01.02.2016 age relaxation will be given for SC/ST/ OBC as per rule)
