Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have qualified 10+2 /equivalent exam with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects; optional subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computers.

Age : Candidates should have been born between 01 Feb 1996 to 31 Jan 2000 (Both dates inclusive).

Selection Procedure :

Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Written Test. :  The question paper will be objective type and will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT). :  PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. Candidates are to bring their sports shoes and shorts for PFT. Medical Standards and procedure for

Junior Stenographer recruitment in Central Leather Research Institute, Adyar Chennai

Essential Qualifications: 10+2/XII pass or equivalent and speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 35/40 w.p.m. in typewriting in Hindi/English. 

Desirable Qualifications: i) Graduation or equivalent, ii) Knowledge of MS Office

Shorthand test: Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per minute, Translation: 50 Minutes  (English)   65 Minutes (Hindi)

Selection Procedure: In case of  large number of applications received, Selection for the post will be made by written examination in General English and General Knowledge followed by proficiency test in typewriting and shorthand. The candidates who qualify in the written examination would be called for proficiency tests. 

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs 100/- through SBI Collect by ONLINE/SBI Branch. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women/CSIR Employees category are exempted from submission of application fee. The last date for submitting online application and making of application fees through SBI is 21/09/2016.
