Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Minimum 55% marks in Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science / Wildlife Biology / Ecology / Zoology / Life Science / Environmental Science from a recognized University
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : i) Knowledge of database applications and experience in working with biodiversity databases, ii) familiarity with research on Indian birds and ornithology and iii) good skill in science communication in English and networking
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :The Programme Fellow is expected to assist the Coordinator, NOD Cell in achieving the following tasks: i) to collect, organize, curate, and publish data on Indian ornithology, ii) to maintain NOD Cell as the single-window clearing-house for all queries and searches for information on any aspects of Indian ornithology, iii) to assist the Course Director in running the M.Sc. Programme in Ornithology & Conservation Biology to be launched by SACON from 2018-19 and iv) to contribute to institutional activities of SACON as and when mandated by the Director.
