Applications are invited from the candidates belonging to the Slate of Tamil Nadu admission into the 3 year Diploma Course in Handloom and Textile Technology in Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Commencing from 16th July 2016.
Educational Qualification : The Candidate should have passed 10th Standard or equivalent examination with English as a subject of study.
Note: In the states wherever grade system is followed in 10th standard the candidates are required to submit the actual marks if available.
Age limit : 15 –23 years
Number of seats : The Government of India have allotted 04 seats to SPKM Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Venkatagiri, Andhra Pradesh, 08 seats to Karnataka Handloom Technology Institute. Gadag, Karnataka; and 05 seats to Indian Institute of Ilandloom Technology, Kannur, Kerala Would be made from Tamilnadu Merit List
Stipend : Each candidate admitted into the course shall he eligible for stipend of Rs. I600/- per month during 1st year, Rs.1100/- in 3rd and 4th semester (2nd year) and Rs.1200/- per month
