Educational Qualification:
1. Scientist ‘C’ (Programming) - 1st class MCA/ M.Sc.(IT)/ M.Sc.(Computer Science) with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience in MCA/M.Sc. (IT)/M.Sc. (Computer Science) after 1st Class Master’s Degree Or 2nd MCA/M.Sc.(IT)/ M.Sc.(Computer Science) with Ph.D in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Application with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in MCA/M.Sc. (IT)/ M.Sc. (Computer Science) after M.Sc. + Ph.D
2. Scientist ‘B’ (Biochemistry) (Reserved for PwD) - 1st class Master’s degree in Biochemistry from a recognized university. Or 2nd class M.Sc. in Biochemistry + PhD in Biochemistry/ Medical Biochemistry/ Pharmacology from a recognized University
3. Scientist ‘B’ (Social & Behavioural Sciences) - 1st class Master degree in Sociology/ Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University. Or 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Sociology/Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University
4. Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) NIRT-Epidemiology Unit - MBBS recognized by MCI.
5. Technical Officer -B - 1st Class Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/ Bacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology. OR 2nd class PG Degree in Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/ Bacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with PhD in the above-mentioned subject from a recognised University
6. Technical Officer -B NIRT-Epidemiology Unit - 1st Class M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology/Public Health. OR 2nd class M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology/Public Health with Ph.D in Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognised University
Age Limit:
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 35 years), (For Post 2 to 6 - 35 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
