Applications on plain paper with complete Bio-data are invited for the post of JRF/Project Fellow (one no) in DST-SERB funded project entitled “Novel approaches to populating Biological Chemical space – Identification of structure based small molecules possessing anticancer, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity”, under the supervision of Dr. G.Vasuki 

Qualifications: M.Sc. Chemistry / Chemical Sciences with minimum 55% marks. Candidate with research experience /expertise in the field of organic synthesis will be given preference.

 The candidate to be appointed as JRF will be paid @ Rs. 16,000/- p.m. (consolidated) for initial two years and Rs18,000/- p.m. (consolidated) for third year + additional benefits as per DST norms, and project fellow will be paid @ Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (consolidated) for initial two years and Rs. 14,000/- pm. (consolidated) for third year + additional benefits as per DST norms. The candidate should be below the age of 28 years at the time of appointment. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. 

The applicants applying for JRF must have qualified NET/GATE exam
