Name of the Posts: Group ‘D’ (Erstwhile)

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have 10th pass/ ITI or equivalent and President’s Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger, should have been an active member of a Scouts Organisation for at least 03 years in the recent past (i.e 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014) and continued to be active & should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State Level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides Activities at unit/ District level.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test, personality test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 100/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minority/ Economically Backward Classes whose family income is less than Rs. 50000/- per annum) through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, South Central Railway, Vijayawada 520001.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format filled either in Hindi/ English along with necessary documents in support of age, qualification, experience, caste, income & application fee of Indian Postal Order duly attested by Gazetted officer by ordinary post only in an envelope should be superscribed with “Application for erstwhile Group ‘D’ post against Scouts & Guides quota” addressed to Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, South Central Railway, Vijayawada 520001 on or before 03-03-2015 & for remote areas 18-03-2015.
