Applications are invited for filling up of one temporary post of Senior Research Fellow and one temporary post of Project Assistant to work in the DST TALIM Project on “Technology Empowerment of Small Holding Livestock Producers of Scheduled Caste Communities in Katpadi and Vellore blocks of Vellore District in Tamil Nadu”, being in operation at the Veterinary University Peripheral Hospital, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai – 600 051

Name of the post:Senior Research Fellow

Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences. Experience in Clinical Service Delivery is Preferred. Candidates shall be able to work both in Chennai and Vellore

Remuneration*:Rs. 18000 + 30% HRA for 1 st, 2nd year and Rs.20,000 + 30% HRA for 3rd Year.

Qualifications : A Recognized Degree in Science/Humanities/Arts/Technologies with Experience in Desktop Works (DTP) Processing. As the Project involves Field works and lots of local travel in Vellore District, candidates with TWO WHEELERS are Preferred. Candidates shall be able to work both in Chennai and Vellore

Remuneration*:Rs.8000 per month for 3 years.

1. Qualified and interested candidates may apply to the undersigned on or before 13.07.2015 and shortlisted candidates will appear for a written examination followed by an interview tentatively on 14.07.2015 at 10.00 am to be held at Veterinary University Peripheral Hospital, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai – 600 051 

2. No TA / DA will be paid for the candidates preferring to attend the interview. Candidates are to make their own arrangements for their stay at Chennai. 

3. Mere application or attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the selection will be based purely on merit basis. Candidates are requested to produce all original certificates (UG / PG degrees, Proof of Age and Experiences, publications and any other testimonials that certify their competency to work in the project) at the time of interview. 

4. The selection of candidates will be purely based on their educational qualifications, work experience etc. 

5. The appointment is made purely on temporary basis with a condition to terminate the appointment without giving any prior notice and the candidate should not claim any university service.
