IIITM-K conducts a walk-in interview for the selection of a Project Scientist on contract basis for one year under EI Project.

Position :Project Scientist  

Qualifications and Remuneration:

Essential : Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Environmental Technology Allied Disciplines (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Botany, Zoology etc) Minimum 10 yrs of relevant experience. preference will be given to candidates who have more than three years’ experience in quantitative technique in applied environmental research

Desirable : 

1) MPhil /PhD in Ecological Informatics 

2) NET in any of the subject indicated above. 

3) Demonstrated field travel and research experience 

4)Prior experience (demonstrated) in Mobile Apps in Ecological Research 

Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- Per Month (consolidated)

 Age Limit : 45 yrs as on date of notification 

 Career Opportunities: The appointments for the posts are purely temporary and shall be initially for a period of one year, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance and subject to the availability of project funds.
