CSL Project Officer Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. Project Officer (Mechanical) on contract basis –

Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Experience: Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a

• Ship Building Company or

• Ship Repair Company or

• Marine related Company or

• Port or

• Engineering Company or

• Government Company or Establishment or

• Semi-Government Company or Establishment.

Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.

2. Project Officer (Electrical) on contract basis –

Educational Qualification:Degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Experience:

Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a

• Ship Building Company or

• Ship Repair Company or

• Marine related Company or

• Port or

• Engineering Company or

• Government Company or Establishment or

• Semi Government Company or Establishment.

Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.

3. Project Officer (Electronics) on contract basis –

Educational Qualification: Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Experience: Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Ship Building Company or

• Government Undertaking or

• Public Sector Undertakings or

• Autonomous Bodies in one or more of the following areas:

• Windows Server Administration

• LINUX/ UNIX

• Internet & Web Technologies

Age Limit: (As on 05.09.2023)

1. Project Officer (Mechanical) on contract basis – Not exceed 30 years

2. Project Officer (Electrical) on contract basis – Not exceed 30 years

3. Project Officer (Electronics) on contract basis – Not exceed 30 years

4. Project Officer (Civil) on contract basis – Not exceed 30 years

5. Project Officer (Instrumentation) on contract basis – Not exceed 30 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. CSL Project Officer Selection Process 2023:

CSL may follow the following process to select the candidates.

1. Objective Type Online Test

2. Personal Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee for CSL Project Officer: 

 i) Application fee of ₹ 700/- (Non refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/wallets/UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 19 August 2023 to 05 September 2023. No other mode of payment shall be accepted. ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee. iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
