HPCL Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:

  1. Junior Executive – Mechanical: A 3-year full-time diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks for UR/OBC NC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. No prior experience is required.
  2. Junior Executive – Electrical: A 3-year full-time diploma in Electrical Engineering with the same qualification criteria as above. No prior experience is required.
  3. Junior Executive – Instrumentation: A 3-year full-time diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, or Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering with the same qualification criteria. No prior experience is required.
  4. Junior Executive – Chemical: A 3-year full-time diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology with the same qualification criteria. No prior experience is required.

  Note: Candidates with higher qualifications, such as a degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent, are not eligible.

• Age Limit (as of 14.02.2025):

  1. Junior Executive – Mechanical: 18 to 25 years
  2. Junior Executive – Electrical: 18 to 25 years
  3. Junior Executive – Instrumentation: 18 to 25 years
  4. Junior Executive – Chemical: 18 to 25 years

  Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. policy

• Pay Scale:

  1. Junior Executive – Mechanical: Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 1,20,000
  2. Junior Executive – Electrical: Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 1,20,000
  3. Junior Executive – Instrumentation: Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 1,20,000

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT), Group Task/Group Discussion
  2. Skill Test, Personal Interview
