TNSTC Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th Grade Pass
- Ability to read and write Tamil
- First Aid Certificate
- Heavy Vehicle Driving License with 18 months of experience as of 01.01.2025
- Note: Applicants who have completed their training through the Institute of Road Transport (IRT) are exempt from the age and experience requirements.
Age Limit for TNSTC Driver and Conductor 2025 (as of 01.07.2025):
- OC Applicants: 24 to 40 years
- BC/ MBC/ DNC/ SC/ ST Applicants: 24 to 45 years
- OC (Ex-S) Applicants: 24 to 50 years
- BC/ MBC/ DNC/ SC/ ST (Ex-S) Applicants: 24 to 55 years
Selection Process:
- Written Exam
- Driving Test and Interview
- Height and Weight: Minimum height of 160 cm and weight of 50 kg.
Application Fee for TNSTC Driver and Conductor 2025:
- SC/ST Applicants: Rs. 590/- + 18% GST
- Other Applicants: Rs. 1,180/- + 18% GST
