India and china are two strange neighbours,
which are neither friend nor foes, eyeing each other with a sense of
suspicion. The 2 countries have recently
celebrated the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Pancheel
treaty. The Pancheel treaty, is an
agreement on peaceful co-existence.

The Pancheel treaty was signed on 24th
Apr 1954. The 5 principle of Pancheel
treaty were,

Mutual respect for each other’s territorial
integrity and sovereignty.

Mutual non-aggression
