NALCO Recruitment 2024: Non-Executive and Para-Medical Positions

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Non-Executive and Para-Medical positions. The positions include SUPT (JOT), Dresser cum First Aider, Lab Technician, Nurse, and Pharmacist.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Educational Qualifications:

    • SUPT (JOT):
      • Matriculation (10th) with ITI (Trade-specific, e.g., Fitter, Electrician, etc.) from a recognized institution.
    • Dresser cum First Aider:
      • 10th Class with a recognized certificate in First Aid and relevant experience.
    • Lab Technician:
      • Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Nurse:
      • B.Sc Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized nursing institution, with valid registration.
    • Pharmacist:
      • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution with valid registration.
  2. Experience (if applicable):

    • Relevant work experience in a hospital or industrial setting may be required, particularly for positions like Nurse, Lab Technician, and Pharmacist.
  3. Age Limit:

    • SUPT (JOT): Typically between 18 to 30 years.
    • Dresser cum First Aider, Lab Technician, Nurse, Pharmacist: Age limit usually between 18 to 32 years (may vary based on post).
    • Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per government norms.

Selection Process:

  1. Written Test: Candidates will be required to appear for an online written examination. The exam will test the candidate's general knowledge, reasoning abilities, and subject-specific knowledge based on the applied post.

  2. Trade Test/Skill Test: For positions like SUPT (JOT), candidates may have to undergo a practical trade test to assess technical skills.

  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test may be called for an interview or document verification.

  4. Medical Examination: A medical fitness test will be conducted for the selected candidates, as per NALCO's medical standards.

Salary and Pay Scale:

  • SUPT (JOT): Salary typically in the range of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month (Level 1 of the pay matrix).
  • Dresser cum First Aider, Lab Technician, Nurse, Pharmacist: Salary generally ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month depending on the role and experience (Level 2 or 3 of the pay matrix).

  Educational Qualifications:

Engineering Disciplines:

  • Regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) / B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical & Electronics / Power Engineering / Power System Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent. (OR)
  • Regular full-time Masters in Engineering / M.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical & Electronics / Power Engineering / Power System Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent.

F&A Discipline:

  • Chartered Accountancy (CA) / Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA).

IT Discipline:

  • Regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering / B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with first division or equivalent CGPA. (OR)
  • Post Graduate Degree viz. MCA / M.Tech. / MCS / MSc. in IT / Computers or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Company Secretariat (CS) Discipline:

  • Graduate with Associate / Fellow Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Law Discipline:

  • Regular full-time Degree in Law (LLB - 3 years) with first division or equivalent CGPA. (OR)
  • Degree in 5 years integrated course in Law from a recognized University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Corporate Communication Discipline:

  • Regular full-time two-year course - MBA or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Corporate Communication & Public Relations with related specialization viz. Communication / Advertising & Communication Management / Mass communication / Journalism, etc., or equivalent.

Assistant Manager (CSR):

  • Regular full-time two-year course - MBA or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Social Work or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Secretarial Discipline:

  • Regular full-time graduate or equivalent from a recognized institute / University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, with a speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting, and good knowledge of MS Office.

Rajbhasha Discipline:

  • Regular full-time Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level; (OR)
  • Master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized Institute / University with a minimum of 50% marks in graduation and post-graduation or equivalent CGPA. And
  • Degree or Minimum 30 days Translation Course conducted by Central Translation Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs.

 Minimum Experience:

  • Deputy General Manager: 18 years post qualification experience.
  • Chief Manager: 15 years post qualification experience.
  • Manager: 12 years post qualification experience.
  • Deputy Manager: 09 years post qualification experience.
  • Assistant Manager: 05 years post qualification experience.
  • Assistant Officer: 12 years post qualification experience.
  • Officer: 03 years post qualification experience.

 ₹ 1,000/- for General / OBC category candidates.
