The Textiles Committee, under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has announced the recruitment for 49 Group A, B & C posts for the year 2025. Interested candidates are invited to apply online for various positions across different categories and levels.

• Total Posts: 49
  • Group A: Senior positions (e.g., Assistant Director, etc.)

  • Group C: Entry-level and other administrative positions (e.g., Stenographers, Clerks, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• Group A Posts:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field, along with specialized qualifications or experience depending on the specific post (e.g., in textiles, engineering, economics, etc.).
• Group B & C Posts:
  • Group B: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or specific technical qualifications related to textiles, depending on the position.
  • Group C: 12th class pass or Graduation for clerical roles, and additional skills (e.g., typing, shorthand, etc.) as required for the position.

2. Age Limit:

• Group A: Usually, candidates should be in the age range of 21 to 35 years.
• Group B: Typically 18 to 30 years.
• Group C: Usually 18 to 27 years, with relaxations for reserved categories.

3. Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the posts will include the following stages:

1. Written Examination: Objective-type test covering general knowledge, reasoning, English language, and subject-specific questions.
2. Skill Test (for specific posts): For posts requiring specific skills, such as typing or stenography, candidates will be tested on these abilities.
3. Interview: For higher-level Group A posts, an interview may be conducted.
4. Document Verification: Candidates will be required to submit original documents for verification after the written test.
