II. Qualification : Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifcations, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (OR) Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) as per UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100+AGP Rs. 6,000/-
Application Fee : D.D for Rs.1,000/- (Rs. 500/- in the case of SC (A)/SC/ST/PWD candidates) towards the cost of application. The DD shall be drawn in favour of the Registrar, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, payable at Tirunelveli.

Duly filled in Application along with Demand Draft should be sent to the Registrar, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli – 627 012 by Registered Post with acknowledgement due or by courier mail and the envelope containing the applications should carry the superscription “Application for the post of ---in the Department of ---” on the left hand Top Corner. The last date for the receipt of the completed application is 24.08.2016. Submission beyond 5.00 p.m is not entertained.
