Applications are invited for a temporary Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work in a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded Molecular Cancer Therapeutics research project entitled, “Establishment of multi-target screening platform for a rapid hit-to-lead selection process in targeted and combinatorial drug development”, to work under the guidance of Dr.G.Kumaresan, Principal Investigator, Cancer Genetics Laboratory, Dept. of Genetics, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University.
Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc., in Zoology / Genetics / Genomics / Biotechnology /
Biochemistry or related branch of life sciences with core hands-on experience for a minimum of 6
months in Molecular Biology or Cell Biology projects. Above stated experience during M.Sc.,
dissertation also would be considered. Applicants with none of these experiences will not be
considered. Candidates having thirst for an ambitious research career in Molecular Cancer
Therapeutics / Cancer Genomics are encouraged to apply.
Duration: Until the project period of January, 2016
Fellowship: As per DBT norms.
