Educational Qualification:
1. Senior Consultant (Economic evaluation specialist) - Professional having Masters degree in Health Economics/Economics/ Econometrics or Masters degree in the relevant subject (Demography/MBA in hospital/finance/health management) with course work in Health Economics with a minimum 10 years experience in the relevant field and should have published papers
2. Scientist D (Non-Medical) - 1 st class Masters degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Science with 8 years research experience OR 2 nd class Masters degree + PhD in above subjects with 8 years research experience
3. Scientist C (Non-Medical) - 1 st class Masters in Statistics/Health Economics with 4 years research experience OR 2 nd class Masters + PhD in above subjects with 4 years experience
4. Senior Project Assistant (UDC/Stenographer) - 1. 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years administrative work experience or Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with 2 years administrative work experience. 2. A computer typing speed of 10500 key depressions per hour in English
5. Multi-tasking staff (Office Attendant) - High school or equivalent Desirable: Two years working experience as office/field attendant
Age Limit:
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 70 Years), (For post 2 - 45 years), (For Post 3 -40 Years), (For Post 4 - 28 Years), (For Post 5 - 25 years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Pay Scale:
1. Senior Consultant (Economic evaluation specialist) - Rs.80,000/- p.m
2. Scientist D (Non-Medical) - Rs.50, 808/- p.m+ HRA Rs.6, 960/- p.m
3. Scientist C (Non-Medical) - Rs. Rs.48, 618/- p.m.+ HRA Rs.6,660/- p.m
4. Senior Project Assistant (UDC/Stenographer) - Rs. Rs.16, 644/- p m
5. Multi-tasking staff (Office Attendant) - Rs. Rs.15, 330/- p m.
Application Fee:
Rs.100/- (drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai) in the shape of demand draft from any Nationalized Bank.
