Name of the Post: Assistant Surgeon

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 57 years for SC, SC (A), ST, MBC&DC, BC, BCM, Ex-servicemen, 35 years for others as on 01-07-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MBBS Degree & Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on merit & exam.

Application & Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- (Rs. 375/- for SC/ SCA/ ST/ DAP (PH) candidates) through following modes.

Online Mode: Candidates have to pay the fee through online payment gateway, i.e. Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit card or Mobile wallet Payment.

Offline Mode: Candidates have to pay the fee with bank charges through System generated payment Challan at any of the branches of Indian Bank.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.mrb.tn.gov.in on or before 17-10-2016 & send print out of online applications with a covering letter contains details of candidate to the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine through Head of the Departments concerned on or before 27-10-2016.

1. Before applying online candidates should have valid e-mail ID, mobile number & scanned copies of colour photograph and signature.
2. Log on through the website www.mrb.tn.gov.in.
3. Click on “Online Registration”.
4. Select the desired post & Click on “Apply Online”.
5. Fill all the details carefully & Submit the form.
6. Now take printout of online application for future use.
