ii). Ph.D., in Coaching or Physical Education in area of Advanced Sports Training and Coaching or equivalent published work.
iii). At least 10 years teaching / research experience in University / National Level Institutions / College of Physical Education out of which 5 years in the Post Graduate Institution / University Department including experience of guiding research at Doctororal Level.

iii). iii). At least 8 years teaching / research experience in University / National Level Institutions / Industries / College out of which 3 years in the Post Graduate Institution / University Department.
iv). A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic performance indicated (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the regulations shall be mandatory requirement

A.
(i) Ph.D in Physical Education or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science candidates from outside the University system.In addition, shall also possess at least 55% marks (or) an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level by the University concerned. (ii) Eight years of experience as University Assistant DPEs/College DPEs (iii) Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two weeks duration. (iv) Evidence of having produced good performance of teams/athletes for competitions like State/National/Inter University/Combined University etc. (v) Passed the Physical fitness test in accordance with these regulations.

B.
An Olympic games/World cup championship medal winner who has a degree at the Post graduation level. Physical Fitness Test Norms a. Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, all candidates who are required to undertake the physical fitness test are required to produce a medical certificate certifying that he/she is medically fit before undertaking such tests. b. On the production of such certificate mentioned in sub-clause (a) above, the candidate would be required to undertake the physical fitness test in accordance with the following norms:

Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC in the General Norms including a pass in NET / SLET / SET prescribed in the regulations shall be mandatory for M.Phil., in Psychology / Sociology specialization.
