Age Limit: Candidate age must be 19 to 24 years, born between 02-07-1989 and 01-07-1994 for General candidates and 19 to 25 years, born between 02-07-1988 and 01-07-1994 for CPL Holders.

Educational Qualification:
For General Candidates: Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 70% marks. Should have qualified 10+2 level with Mathematics & Physics.
For CPL Holders: Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Should have qualified 10+2 level with Mathematics and Physics. The candidate must beholding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).

Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Course Commencing in January, 2014 Executive (Hydro/ General Service) (including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C certificate holders (Naval Wing) – 40 vacancies

Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January, 2014(No-195th F(P) course-32), Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 99th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April, 2014 – 175 vacancies

Officers Training Academy, Chennai 13th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing inApril, 2014 - 12 vacancies

Since women candidates are eligible for OTA only, they should give OTA as their first and only preference

If a male candidate is competing for Short Service Commission (Army) only, he should indicate OTA as the one and only choice

However, a male candidate competing for short service commission course at OTA as well as permanent commission course at IMA, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy should indicate OTA as his last preference, otherwise OTA will be deemed to be the last choice even if it is given a higher preference by the candidate
