In

DURATION:
Initially for a period of one year and likely to be extended.
QUALIFICATION:
10th
standard exam appeared.
EXPERIENCE:
to be familiar with the following works with 3 years experience.
- Operation of concrete mixers and vibrators.
- Bar bending up to 32mm tor steel.
- Stirrup making for all kinds of concrete specimens.
- Operation of maintenance of hydraulic equipments and pumps.
- Assistance during B.TECH and M.TECH classes.
EMOLUMENTS:
On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.7,000/- –
Rs.18,000/- pm.
AGE
LIMIT:
The maximum age limit upto which candidate can work in the project is
30 years for SC/ST & 28 years for other categories
NOTE:
The candidates who have completed 29 years in the case of SC/ST
category & 27 years in the case of Other category as on the date
of announcement need not apply.
The
Principal Investigator has the discretion to restrict the number of
candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the
basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum
prescribed in the announcement.

NOTE:
1. Selected Candidates with Master’s degree will be encouraged to
register for the Ph.D programme at IIT Madras – as relevant –
Subject to satisfying the norms and admission criteria of IIT MADRAS.
2.
Selected candidates can apply for the MS programme at IIT Madras
after six months on the project, with the supervisor’s
recommendation – as relevant – Subject to satisfying the norms
and admission criteria of IIT MADRAS.
Other
things are being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The

Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras should send
