Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai-25 for Department of Science and Technology, Government of India sponsored ongoing project on “Differential effects of 20-HETE in mediating VEGF and NO induced changes in tissues by distinct signaling mechanisms” sanctioned to Dr.C.D.Anuradha. 

ELIGIBILITY:

JRF: First class M.Tech/ M.Sc (with NET/SLET) /M.Pharm/ M.S (by research) degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology Research experience in Cell signaling and sound knowledge in Vascular Biology and work experience in Hypoxia/reoxygenation models is desirable.

Emoluments per month are Rs.16,000/- ( plus 4800 HRA) for the three years .

Applications are invited for DST funded project entitled “Cloning, Over-expression and evaluation of recombinant antigens for Immunodiagnosis of Neurocysticercosis”.

Senior Research Fellow - Total 1 No. (Temporary)

Duration: Time bound for a period of 1 year (likely to continue beyond 1 year).

Qualifications: 

Essential: Post Graduate (PG) degree in Life Sciences with minimum of 2 years of research experience.

Desirable: Research experience in Proteomics and Molecular techniques. Preference for candidate who have passed NET/GATE exam.

Age limit: Upper age limit 30 years as per DST rules.

Salary: Consolidated salary of Rs.18,000/- per month+20% HRA as per DST rules.
