Applications are invited from interested candidates for the temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (1 no.) and Field Assistant (1 no.) to work for a Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India sponsored Project entitled “Heavy metal flow in the marine food web of Muthupettai Mangrove Ecosystem, East coast of Tamil Nadu” at the Department of Marine Science, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli - 620 024.

 Project Duration : 3 Years

 Essential Qualification : 1. M.Sc. degree with Ist Class for Junior Research Fellow  2. B.Sc. (Any life Science degree) – Field Assistant

 Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/-p.m. for Junior Research Fellow  Rs. 5,000/-pm for Field Assistant

Qualification for JRF:

Essential: M.Sc., Degree in Marine Science/Marine Biology/Oceanography/Marine Biotechnology/Environmental Science/Zoology.

Desirable: Experience in Marine environmental and biological sample collection,storage, processing and analysis of heavy metals using AAS.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
