Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to conduct Assistant Surgeon written examination on behalf of Tamil Nadu Medical Service on 22nd September 2013 at Chennai only in Tamil Nadu state for recruiting 2594 jobs. Paper-I: Single Paper in the Subject Viz
Medical Science: Duration: 3 hours, Max marks: 300
Paper-II: General Studies, Duration: 2 hours, Max marks: 200
Interview and Record: 70 marks
Total: 570 Marks
Minimum Qualifying marks for selection for all candidates: 171

Examination center: Chennai

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Main Examination
and (ii) Oral Test in the type of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks secured by the candidates in main test in both the papers and Oral Test taken together subject
