A Walk-in-Interview will be held at Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Science Campus Karaikudi - 630 004 on 30.10.2014 (Thursday) at 11.00 AM for the position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) for the CSIR funded research project entitled “Production, purification and characterization of a-amylase from marine sediment bacterium Bacillus subtilis S8-18 and its evaluation for antibiofilm activity against human pathogens”.
Qualification: First Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or equivalent of a recognized University with NET (JRF). NET (LS)/ GATE qualified candidates may also apply.
Emoluments & Duration:
For NET (JRF) candidate Rs. 16,000 + Admissible HRA per month- Till 30th June 2015
For NET (LS)/GATE candidate Rs. 12,000 + Admissible HRA per month- Till 30th June 2015

Selected candidate will be encouraged to register for PhD Programme.
Candidates appearing for the Walk-in Interview should bring CV, testimonials, copies of certificates and all original certificates for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
