Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 22 years as on 30-09-2014. Age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should pass in 10+2 or its equivalent.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Physical test, Written test & Medical Fitness.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website http://www.police.pondicherry.gov.in from 20-10-2014, 10:00 AM to 10-11-2014 by 05:45 PM and send hard copy of application along with Acknowledgement Due, by superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF POLICE CONSTABLE” and send through Registered post to The Superintendent of Police (HQ), No: 2, Dumas street, Police Head Quarters, Puducherry on or before 20-11-2014 by 05:45 PM.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying candidates should have scanned copies of recent passport size colour Photograph (size:150 kb), Signature (size:150 kb).
2. Logon to the website http://www.police.pondicherry.gov.in.
3. Click on Recruitment —-> Police Constable.
4. Click on Apply Online.
5. Fill all the details and upload photo, signature.
6. Click on Submit button.
7. Take print out of application and send to the addresses mentioned in how to apply.
