APPOINTMENT OF CONSULTANT FOR AUSTRALIA
|
- DRAFT FORMAT ON INVITING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF CONSULTANT FOR AUSTRALIA RECRUITMENT ON BEHALF OF OMCL:
- PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT
- The selected persons will be appointed initially for a period of one year. Based on his/her performance, tenure will be extended for a further period of one or two years.
- If the selected persons performance is not upto the expected level, the administration will be cancelled his/her candidature without any prior intimation.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE APPLICANT TO BE APPOINTED AS CONSULTANT WITH REFERENCE TO AUSTRALIA RECRUITMENT
- It is the duty of the Consultant to be appointed to source vacancies from various employers in the Australia through his/her contacts and experience already gained.
- The vacancies sourced from the employers should be forwarded to the OMCL as it is received by the employer from the Australia
- The OMCL will provide eligible candidates in accordance to the vacancies notified by the Australia employer to the Consultant to be appointed.
- CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF THE CONSULTANT APPOINTMENT

- Past experience of the applicant particularly with reference to the recruitment to Australia
- SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:
- HONORARIUM :
- The successfully selected and appointed applicant as Consultant to Australia Recruitment Process will be paid a specified amount as Honorarium.
- The Honorarium will be paid to the successfully appointed applicant as per the decision of the Managing Director.
- The Honorarium will be given on deployment basis
- The candidate is considered as deployed after he/she is landed at Australia on proper employment Visa.
- The Honorarium to be paid for each Consultant will be decided by the Managing Director based upon the demand procured and notified to the OMCL. The Consultant is eligible for the payment only for the vacancies sourced by him/her.
- The Honorarium will be maximum of 10% to the Service Charges to be collected from the successfully deployed candidates by the OMCL.
- The Consultant is strictly prohibited not to collect any fees in connection with the employment.
- The Managing Director reserves rights to forfeit or partly pay or cancel the Honorarium to the Consultant at any point of time.
- TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR APPOINTMENT OF CONSULTANT FOR RECRUITING ELIGIBLE PERSONS :
- Objectives of work
- Scope:
- To study and analyse the gap between the supply and demand of the India & Australia respectively
- Based on the studies/analysies on demand existing in Australia may be materialized by preparing a detailed report on demand in various departments, industries, Establishment in Australia, so as to source the suitable candidates in India or elsewhere.
- To know thoroughly about the latest rules and execution of the deployment activities in connection with the Australian Immigration Policy/Procedures/ Rules etc
- To have close relationship with the various authorities such Immigration, Visa, Training, Assessment etc of Australia.
- To get essential and necessary details from the potential employers in connection with the demand from various employers in Australia such as various categories, qualification, experience, Age, Salary, nature of visa, contractual period, training& examination needed etc, may be provided to the OMCL for flawless execution of deployment service. Any other problems to be expected in the near future inconnection with the recruitment process, deployment process etc may also be informed in advance.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as relevant to the assignment.

The Board of Director of Overseas Manpower Corporation of Tamilnadu ( A Govt. of Tamilnadu Undertaking) intends to reach Australian Employer to bring more opportunities for the potential youth in Tamilnadu by way of getting suitable jobs for the youths in India. To achieve this, the OMCL invites expression of interest from prominent / experienced persons to work as Consultant for the OMCL so as to source, suitable vacancies from Australia.
Persons who are interested must have proven track records in doing similar work for any other recruiting agencies in India or anywhere in the part of the World. Preference to be given to the persons who have depth knowledge, experience and recordical evidence showing their relevancy in connection with the canvassing recruiting sourcing maintaining relationship with reference to recruitment process, etc particularly to Australia.
Interested persons may apply with detailed terms and conditions acceptable to them in the prescribed format after downloading it from our website www.omcmanpower.com to the Managing Director, Overseas Manpower Corporation Ltd, Chennai 600 032 in a envelop clearly marked “EOI Consultant appointment for Australia Recruitment” on or before the last date specified. The shortlisted candidate will be asked to enter in to an agreement with OMCL. EOI received after the due date will be summarily rejected. The management has right to reject any or all EOI received in response to this invitation and its decision in this regard shall be final and binding.
The invitation for EOI will be released on 26.10.2015. The EOI must reach to OMCL office within 10 days of release of this invitation i.e. on or before 5.11.2015 before 5.00 P.M.
Interested applicants may submit their proposal as per the proforma given in Annexure-1 to the Managing Director, Overseas Manpower Corporation Ltd, 42, Alandur Road, Guindy, Chennai 600 032.
The Overseas Manpower Corporation Ltd seeks services of experienced persons to carry out recruitment to Australia for various categories as sourced by the Consultants to be appointed by the OMCL.
The Consultant to be appointed is expected to, but not limited to do the following:
The person to be appointed as Consultant is required to submit his/her comments on the above terms of reference, if any in the proforma of EOI.
The Managing Director reserves the right to reject any or all the proposals submitted in response to the EOI without assigning any reason therefor. The proposal can be sent by registered post/courier or in person so as to reach the OMCL by the time and date stipulated by the OMCL
The OMCL shall not be responsible for any delay in submission of the proposal. Any proposal received by the OMCL after the deadline may not be considered.
