Research Associate/Project Associate /Asst.

Eligibility : ME/M.Tech, BSc, M Phil / Ph.D, MSc

Research Associate 

Qualification : Master’s / Ph.D. in Computer Science / Genomics / Computation Biology / Bioinformatics. 

Requirements : Good knowledge of programming languages for data analysis and tool development such as Perl, Python, R, Java, SQL, C++, etc. with sufficient knowledge in basics of genomics and molecular biology.

Project Associate 

Qualification : M.Sc. / M.S. / M.Tech. in any branch of Life Science/ Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology. Requirements : Previous experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and Genome/Big Data Analysis is desirable, but not mandatory. 

Project Assistant (Category – I) 

Qualification : B.Sc. in any branch of Life Science/ Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology. Requirements : Previous experience in Molecular Biology/Cell Biology/Biochemistry 

Project Assistant (Category – II) 

Qualification : B.Sc. in any branch of Life Science (and / or) DMLT / PGDMLT. 

Requirements : Previous hands-on experience in handling and processing of (human) biological samples is desirable, but not mandatory. The Project Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications that are higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement. All positions are purely temporary and may be extended based on performance.
