Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Engineer - Civil - (Re-designated from Overseer) - Passed in Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E/B.Tech,- Civil, approved by recognized institution & Previous field Experience and Basic Computer knowledge

2. Poundkeeper - VIIIth STD Passed

3. Safaiwala - Able to read and write in Tamil and able to do all cleaning related works

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Upper age limit for the Un Reserved (UR) post is 25 years; post reserved for OBClTransgender the upper age limit is 28 years; post reserved for SC, the upper age limit is 30 years as'on 01.08.2017. For all the above posts, the upper age limit for Differently abled candidates is 35 years for Un Reserved (UR), 38 years for OBC/Transgender, 40 years for SC and ST. Minimum age for all the above posts is 18 years. No age relaxation is given for OBC, SC/ST applying for Un Reserved (UR) posts.

Pay Scale:

1. Junior Engineer - Civil - Rs.9300-34800+4200GP

2. Poundkeeper - Rs.4800-10000+ 1300GP

3. Safaiwala - Rs.4800-10000+ 1300GP

Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Skill Test

Application Fee:

The candidates have to pay fixed fee of Rs. 200/- through Demand Draft issued by any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of the "Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, St. Thomas Mount" & payable at Chennai, which should be enclosed with the Detailed Application Form(DAF). The candidates belonging to SC/STl Differently abled and Transgender (Should submit the required certificates from District Medical Bo')-rdand a copy of the same.to be enclosed and forward along with the online printed application form) are exempted from payment of fee.

Printout of the Detailed Application Form (DAF) and Demand Draft (if any) must be sent to the Office of the Cantonment Board, St. Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai - 600 016 by post so as to reach us by 11.09.2017. Envelope must be super-scribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “…………….”
