1. Scientist B (Medical) - 01

2. Project Technical Assistant - 02

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist B (Medical) - MBBS Degree recognised by MCI and registered in the respective Council with one year Research /Teaching experience OR MD in Microbiology/Pathology/PSM from a recognized University

2. Project Technical Assistant - Graduate in Computer Science from a recognized University with three years work experience from a recognised Institution OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 35 Years), (For Post 2 - 30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale:

1. Scientist B (Medical) - Rs.57, 488/- + HRA Rs.7, 875/- p.m

2. Project Technical Assistant - Rs.29, 565/- p.m

Application Fee:

For General/OBC Candidates Application Fee is - Rs.100/-

For All Other Candidates (ST/SC/Ex-s/PWD) Application Fee is - Nil

(Drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai by way of demand draft from any Nationalized banks). SC/ST, physically disabled candidates and women candidates are exempted from payment of fees subject to production of valid certificate.
