IIITDM Kancheepuram Non Teaching Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. Technical Officer -

Computer Science and Engineering (01 Post): 

Essential Qualification and Experience:

● First class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Cyber Security with 8 years of relevant experience OR

● First class M.Sc. in Computer Science with 8 years of relevant experience OR

● First class Master of Computer Applications with 8 years of relevant experience OR

● First class M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Cyber Security with 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in the web based applications/software development for large organization

• Experience in Full Stack Web Development.

• Experience in C/ C++/ Python/ Java programming

• Knowledge of SQL database and their backup on Linux/ Unix.

• Experience on network/ system/ web/ cloud administration/ architect/ security/ ERP/ HPC/ Data center activities.

• CCNA/ CCDA/ CCNP/ CCIE/ CCDE/ CCAR certification from Cisco or Windows/ Linux/ Unix System Administration/ Architect certification from LPI/ Red Hat/ Oracle/ Microsoft/ AWS

Electronics and Communication Engineering (01 Post): 

Essential Qualification and Experience:

● First class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience OR

● First class M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Experience:

• Working experience in software like Lab view/ Embedded C/ 3D Printers/ Solar Panel Installation and Maintenance of Digital Oscilloscope Operation, Electronics Measuring and Testing Instruments like Vector Network Analyzer/Spectrum Analyzer, documentation and report recording.

2. Junior Technical Superintendent –

Computer Science and Engineering (01 Post): 

Essential Qualification and Experience:

● B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Cyber Security with 5 years of relevant experience. OR

● M.Sc. in Computer Science with 5 years of relevant experience. OR

● Master of Computer Applications with 5 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Experience:

• Strong programming skills and automating task via shell scripts.

• Working experience with open source technologies.

• Globally acknowledged certification in server or cloud administration.

• Knowledge of networking, security and device management.

• Experience in the web based applications/software development.

Design (01 Post):

Essential Qualification and Experience:

●B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Automobile Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in handling Design studio laboratory.

• Experience in product design.

• Experience in UX design.

• Experience in Interaction Design, Usability & Visual Design.

3. Junior Superintendent (Library) –

Essential Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate Plus Bachelor of Library Science OR

• Master of Library Science OR

• Diploma in Library Science with 6 years relevant library experience.

4. Junior Assistant –

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of computer operations

5. Junior Technician –

 Computer Science and Engineering (06 Post):-

• Diploma in Computer Engineering/ Information Technology OR

• ITI (Computer) with 2 years’ experience.

Mechanical Engineering (05 Post): –

 •Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR

 •ITI (Fitter/ Machinist) with 2 years’ experience.

Design (01 Post): -

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Automobile Engineering OR

• ITI (Fitter/ Machinist) with 2 years’ experience

Electronics and Communication Engineering (04 Post):-

• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering OR

• ITI (relevant field) with 2 years’ experience.

Physics (01 Post): -

• B.Sc. in Physics.

Age Limit: (As on 31.07.2023)

1. Technical Officer - 45 Years

2. Junior Technical Superintendent - 32 Years

3. Junior Superintendent (Library) - 32 Years

4. Junior Assistant - 27 Years

5. Junior Technician - 27 Years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. IIITDM Kancheepuram Non Teaching Selection Process 2023:

IIITDM Kancheepuram may follow the following process to select the candidates.

1. written test/ skill test/ trade test

2. Interview

 Application Fee/Exam Fee for IIITDM Kancheepuram Non Teaching: 

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- per post through online portal. Women candidates, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) applying against ESM posts advertised are exempted from payment of fee. Application fee will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Online application submitted without requisite fee will be rejected forthright.
