CPRI Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential: 1st Class BE/B.Tech with 5 years’ experience or M.Tech/ME with 3 years’ experience or Ph.D. in Engineering.
- Specializations & Experience Requirements:
- Cyber Security: Specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Networking, etc., with valid certifications like ISA 62443, CISSP, CEH, and experience in testing, audit, or consultancy.
- Chemical Engineering: Experience in Battery/Energy Storage, Hydrogen Energy, Combustion/Gasification technologies, Transformer Oil, Insulating Oils, and Carbon Capture/Utilization.
- Metallurgy Engineering: Specialization in designing materials for power plants with knowledge of fracture mechanics, welding, failure analysis, and high-temperature materials.
- Electrical Engineering: Specialization in High Voltage Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, and proficiency in power product standards.
Age Limit for CPRI Engineering Officer 2025 (as of 17th February 2025):
- Engineering Officer Grade 3: Maximum age of 40 years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy
Pay Scale:
- Engineering Officer Grade 3: Level 11 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700)
