Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant:
- 10+2/XII or equivalent, and proficiency in computer typing speed, as per the prescribed norms set by DoPT.
- Skill Test: Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi, qualifying in nature (10500 KDPH or 9000 KDPH, 5 key depressions per word).
- Junior Stenographer:
- 10+2/XII or equivalent, with stenography proficiency in English or Hindi as per DoPT norms.
- Skill Test: One dictation for 10 minutes at 80 w.p.m. in English or Hindi (qualifying in nature).
Age Limit (as of 12.03.2025):
- Junior Secretariat Assistant: Maximum 28 years
- Junior Stenographer: Maximum 27 years
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- SC/ST Applicants: 5 years
- OBC Applicants: 3 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS) Applicants: 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST) Applicants: 15 years
- PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years

Pay Scale:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant: Pay Level 2 (₹19,900 - ₹63,200)
