Eligibility Criteria for HCSL:
Educational Qualification:
Project Officer (Safety):
- Degree in Safety Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (not mandatory for those with other qualifications and relevant experience).
- Minimum experience requirements: 2 years for Engineering graduates and 5 years for others in safety-related roles in shipyards/factories.
Project Officer (Mechanical):
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in shipbuilding, marine-related, or engineering companies.
Project Officer (Electronics):
- Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant industries.
Project Officer (Electrical):
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in related industries.
Project Officer (Civil):
- Degree in Civil Engineering with 60% marks.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in civil engineering or large infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in a computerized environment is an advantage.
Age Limit (As of 24.03.2025):
- Project Officer (Safety): Maximum 45 years
- Project Officer (Mechanical): Maximum 45 years
- Project Officer (Electronics): Maximum 45 years
- Project Officer (Electrical): Maximum 45 years
- Project Officer (Civil): Maximum 45 years
Relaxation in Age Limit:
- SC/ST Applicants: 5 years
