NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF JRFs 

Applications are invited for recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) purely on ad hoc basis under the
programme “Mission Mode Action Programme to Create Awareness on Management of Coffee White Stem Borer in the Arabica Growing Tracts of South India” for a period of one year from August 2014.

No. of posts: One
Tenure: Purely on ad hoc basis for 12 months period from August 2014 & likely to be extended for upto six
months based on further assessment.

Qualification: M.Sc. (Ag.) in Entomology or M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology or M.Sc., in any branch of
Biological Sciences.

Age limit: 30 years.

Place of work: Office of the Sr. Liaison Officer, Coffee Board, Yercaud, Salem Dt., Tamil Nadu.

Remuneration: Rs. 12,000/- consolidated per month.

Job requirement: To conduct Transfer of technology programmes to enhance awareness among the Arabica
coffee growers and estate workers on the interventions for effective management of white stem borer. The
job involves extensive travel in the coffee growing areas. The selected candidates are expected to stay close to the office to which they are attached.
