Project “NREGAGIT”: CIRCULAR

Centre for Geographic Information Technologies (CGIT) in Bharathidasan University is  contributing to society mainly by executing translational research projects sponsored by union / state governments. Project “NREGAGIT” (NREGA Implementation through Geographic Information Technologies for Tamil Nadu) is one such project sponsored by Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt. of India through Govt. of Tamil Nadu. This project mainly aims at bringing more transparency in MGNREGA works execution, empowering the grass-root participatory planning and completely avoid work duplication in terms of spatial location using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS). 

In this regard, applications are invited from suitable candidates to work in the above Project “NREGAGIT” (NREGA Implementation through Geographic Information Technologies for Tamil Nadu) with different capacities. The details of designation, consolidated salary, qualification and experience are given in TABLE 1.
