The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) proposes to engage the services of Senior Research Fellow [01 each – Chemistry & Botany (Pharmacognosy)] on contract basis through Written Test/ Walk-in-Interview to be held on Saturday, the 10th October, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. The walk in interview will be held at Pharmacopoeial Laboratory for Indian Medicine (PLIM), Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) and the selected candidates will have to work there. Applications are invited from highly motivate and brighter candidates for the position of  Senior Research Fellow position in the DST-SERB sponsored project under the supervision of Dr.P.Nazni, Principal Investigator, Associate Professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Periyar University, Salem-11.

Title of the Project   :                  Evaluation of Physiochemical, Nutritional, Pasting and Textural                                                                     Characteristics of processed millets  based foods

Name and number of position :   Senior Research Fellow, 1 position

Eligibility :                                      Masters in Food Science & Nutrition and Food  Technology with 55%                                                      of marks

Desirable Qualifications :                 NET/GATE/Ph.D qualification with minimum 2 years of research                                                                experience

Duration of the project :                3 years

Emoluments for the position :              Rs.16,000/- plus HRA for two years

                                                         Rs.18, 000/- plus HRA for third year
