Qualification: Ph.D. (Civil/Coastal/ Ocean Engg/ Oceanography/ related discipline). Experience: Two years of coastal field monitoring is preferred. More experienced applicants will be considered for the next level position of Principal Project Officer.

Project Officer /No. of Post-I

Qualification: M.Tech / M.E. (Civil/Ocean Engg/ related discipline. 7.0 CGPA. Candidates with experience in Coastal field monitoring or will be given preference. B.Tech / B.E (Civil/Ocean Engg/ related discipline. 7.0 CGPA and above with a minimum of five year experience in Coastal field monitoring or related studies).

Pay Scale: Rs.22000 – 40000

Project Associate /No. of Posts: 3

Qualification:  B.Tech / B.E(Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg./ Physical oceanography/ any other relevant discipline with 6.5 CGPA and above) . Experience: Coastal field monitoring/data analysis experience is preferred and higher initial pay will be fixed for relevant experienced candidates. 

Pay Scale:   Rs.16500-35000

Project Technician /No. of Posts: 3

Qualification: Diploma in Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg./ Physical oceanography/ any other relevant discipline with 6.0 CGPA and above. Experience: Handling of instruments/field monitoring will be preferred. Higher initial pay will be fixed for relevant experienced candidates.

Pay Scale:  Rs.9000-30000

Project Asst. /No. of Posts: 2

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Science/ Arts with work experience. Experience: Computer based secretarial skills. 

Pay Scale: Rs.9000 -30000

Project Attentant/ No. of Posts: 2

Qualification: Pass in 10th standard with work experience for 3 years. Experience: Assisting survey team/field monitoring.

Pay Scale:  Rs.8000 - 15000

Age Limit: The maximum age limit upto which candidate can work in the project is 30 years for SC/ST & 28 years for other categories. The candidates who have completed 29 years in the case of SC/ST category & 27 years in the case of Other category as on the date of announcement need not apply.

Desirable: Candidates should have an interest in working in the field work for setting up the Coastal Monitoring station. Exposure to basics of Wave hydrodynamics and Coastal Engineering/ computer skills/ physical model testing are preferred. Two years of working experience in relevant discipline of ocean/coastal engineering are preferred.
