The appointment is purely on temporary basis and need based and they should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. 

The essential qualification and salary are given below:- 

I) Research Associate 

A. Essential qualifications : Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science 

B. Salary : Pay Rs.23,000/- + HRA 

II) Junior Research Fellow

A. Essential qualifications : Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Science 

B. Salary : Pay Rs.12,000/- + HRA

Alagappa University

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Science Campus Karaikudi - 630 004 on 30.10.2014 (Thursday) at 11.00 AM for the position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) for the CSIR funded research project entitled “Production, purification and characterization of a-amylase from marine sediment bacterium Bacillus subtilis S8-18 and its evaluation for antibiofilm activity against human pathogens”.

Qualification: First Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or equivalent of a recognized University with NET (JRF). NET (LS)/ GATE qualified candidates may also apply.

Emoluments & Duration: 

For NET (JRF) candidate Rs. 16,000 + Admissible HRA per month- Till 30th  June 2015
