Applications are invited from the children of officers/employees of V.O.Chidambaranar Port Trust for engagement as graduate apprentices in Civil Engineering Department for the year 2014-15, against the seats earmarked for the children of Port employees and officers under the Apprentice Act, 1961, as detailed below:-

3. Duration of Training : One year

4. No. of persons to be engaged under  seats earmarked under the  employee children quota : 2 (Two)

5. Stipend : Rs.3560/- per month

 Candidates having the requisite qualifications may furnish their applications along-with marks statement in the enclosed proforma. Candidates who had already undergone Apprenticeship training in any other organization or in VOC Port Trust and the candidates who have completed more than 3 years after acquiring B.E. Degree need not apply. The last date for submission of applications by the candidates is 12.12.2014

Name of the Posts: Child Development Project Officer

Age Limit: Candidates age should be minimum of 18 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC/ DC/ BC/ BCM/ Destitute Widows of all Castes, between 18-30 years for Others as on 01-07-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Nutrition/ Degree in Home Science/ Degree with PG Diploma in Rural Services of Gandhigram University.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Main Written Examination and Oral Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 175/- (Rs. 50/- is cost of application & Rs. 125/- is Examination Fee) through Online/ Offline mode. Those who have registered in the one time registration system and paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the application fee i.e. Rs.50/- and it is enough to pay the examination fee alone. Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office/ Fee Processing Agency. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- of Application Cost.

Online Payment: Pay the fee through the online payment gateway i.e., Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card payment, an additional page of the application form will be displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details to make payment.

Offline Payment: Fee must be paid through Challan (generated from website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office with in two days from date of submission of application.

How to Apply: Eligible women candidates may apply online through the website www.tnpsc.gov.in on or before 26-12-2014.

TAMIL NADU VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES UNIVERSITY

A walk-in-interview will be conducted for the post of ONE Senior Research Fellow in the NADP scheme on “Nanotechnology facility to augment farm animal production and health” functioning at the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007.

The post is purely temporary till the existence of the scheme. 

Qualifications

Senior Research Fellow : M.V.Sc in Animal Biotechnology, M.Tech Biotechnology/ M.Tech Industrial Biotechnology/Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Biochemistry/ M.Tech Industrial

Biotechnology or other related disciplines with an OGPA of 3.5 / 4.0 or 8.0 / 10.0; 

Pay:Rs.15,000/- per month (+ HRA)

M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related disciplines with First class or equivalent; Pay: Rs.14,000/- per month (+ HRA)

Candidates with full bio-data are requested to walk in to the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007, for a written test and an interview on 10.12.2014 at 10.00 AM with original certificates in support of age, qualifications, photo ID card and experience certificate if any etc. Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with no objection letter from the present employer.

 No TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview. The written exam would be for one hour duration with multiple choice questions.
