Application are invited for a Project fellow (One position) to work in the University Grants Commission (UGC) sponsored research project entitled “Differential expression and characterization of leptospiral proteins associated with pathogenesis” in the Department of Microbiology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-620024.

Qualifications: M.Sc., in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Biological Sciences from any recognized university and with minimum one year research experience in relevant field will be preferred.

Amount of Fellowship: ₹ 16,000/- p.m (GATE/NET/GPAT) / ₹ 14,000/- p.m 

(NonGATE/Non NET fellow). The fellowship is for a period of THREE years. 

Age limit: 30 years as on 3rd November, 2015. 

Candidates fulfilling above requirements may walk in for an Interview on 3 rd November 2015 at 10a.m. in the Department of Microbiology, Bharathidasan University, Palkalaiperur, Tiruchirapalli – 620 024. 

Candidates are required to submit recent curriculum vitae with a passport size photograph along with attested copies of certificates in support of their claims regarding age, and educational qualifications. Entrance exam will be conducted and the short-listed candidates will be further interviewed for selection. The original certificates should be produced for verification before the interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending interview. The project fellow position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the above research project.
