Essential Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by MCI. Desirable: i. MD in Community Medicine/Social & Preventive Medicine/Microbiology/Pathology. ii. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in subjects in recognized institute(s). iii. Two years R&D/ Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification

Post No. 2 : Scientist-B (Non-medical)

Essential Qualification : 1 st Class M.Sc degree in Zoology/ Medical Entomology/ Public Health Entomology from a recognized University. Or 2 nd Class M.Sc degree in Zoology/ Medical Entomology/ Public Health Entomology + Ph.D in the relevant subject from a recognized University. Desirable: i. Doctorate in Zoology/Public Health Entomology/Medical Entomology from a recognized university. ii. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in subjects related to vector borne diseases and their control in recognized institute(s) iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Biostatistics/Data Management

Post No. 3 : Scientist-B (Non-medical)

Essential Qualification : 1 st Class Master’s degree in Microbiology from a recognized University. Or 2 nd Class Master’s degree in Microbiology + Ph.D in the relevant subject from a recognized University. Desirable: i. Doctorate in Microbiology from a recognized university. ii. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in subjects related to vector borne diseases and their control in recognized institute(s) iii. Pay Band : Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
