CSMCRI Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist Post Code 01: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Desirable: PhD thesis in Natural Products Chemistry with experience in marine resource value addition and modern analytical techniques.
2. Scientist Post Code 02: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Biological Sciences. Desirable: Experience in plant genomics and NGS data analysis with publications.
3. Scientist Post Code 03: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical Sciences. Desirable: Experience in synthesis and characterization of silica-based materials with SCI indexed publications/patents.
4. Scientist Post Code 04: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology. Desirable: Experience in algae/plant biotechnology and molecular biology with publications.
5. Scientist Post Code 05: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Biological Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Coastal Biology/Marine Biology. Desirable: Field experience in Marine Ecology/Marine EIA and publications.
6. Scientist Post Code 06: ME/M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology or Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology. Desirable: Industrial experience in chemical manufacturing, product development, or project management.

Age Limit (as of 05.02.2025):

• For all positions: 32 Years
• Age Relaxation:

  • PwBD (Gen/EWS) Applicants: 10 years
