CISF Eligibility Criteria:
- Skilled Trades: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates for skilled trades (Barber, Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washer Man, Welder, Electrician, and Motor Pump Attendant) should have received training from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
- Unskilled Trades: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board for unskilled trades (Sweeper). Educational certificates from non-State/Central Boards must be supported by a Government of India notification confirming their equivalency to Matriculation/10th class for Central Government service.
Age Limit for CISF Constable/Tradesman 2025: (As on 01.08.2025)
- Age Range: 18 to 23 years (born between 02/08/2002 and 01/08/2007).
- Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- SC/ST Applicants: 5 years
- OBC Applicants: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per government policy
Pay Scale for CISF Constable/Tradesman 2025:
- Constable/Tradesman: Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- per month
