IOCL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications (as of 28.02.2025):

• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines
• Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HE): Full-time Graduation from a recognized institution
• Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Graduation in Commerce
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): 12th Pass
• Domestic DEO (Skill Certificate Holders): 12th Pass with a Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate

Age Limit (as of 28.02.2025):

• Apprentice: 18 to 24 years
• Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government policy
