Qualifications and Remuneration:

Essential : Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Environmental Technology Allied Disciplines (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Botany, Zoology etc) Minimum 10 yrs of relevant experience. preference will be given to candidates who have more than three years’ experience in quantitative technique in applied environmental research

Desirable : 

1) MPhil /PhD in Ecological Informatics 

2) NET in any of the subject indicated above. 

3) Demonstrated field travel and research experience 

4)Prior experience (demonstrated) in Mobile Apps in Ecological Research 

Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- Per Month (consolidated)

 Age Limit : 45 yrs as on date of notification

Project Name	“Whole Genome Sequencing of  Indian white Shrimp   Penaeus indicus”
Duration	Up to March 2017 / co-terminus with the project
Essential Qualification	Master's Degree in Fisheries  Science with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR Candidates having post graduate degree in (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Zoology/Life sciences) with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification
Desirable	Candidates having working knowledge in molecular biology techniques will be preferred
Emoluments	Rs.25000/- for the 1st and 2nd year Rs.28000/- for the 3rd year + 30% HRA per month
Age Limit	Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview. Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.
