Role Objective: Accountabilities:	Creating and managing projects plans for OS upgrades, system configuration changes, and any major changes to the environment. Ensuring SLAs and SLMs are met or exceeded; Adhering to the Change Management and Problem Management processes Performing problem management and meet system recovery requirements as defined by problem severity Ensure security patches are applied as as required by security guidelines Performing vendor management, such as reporting hardware failure and working to replace/repair equipment, and coordinating access for the vendor Troubleshooting issues, suggesting and implementing enhancements. Hardening of servers and handling new projects from an infrastructure perspective.
Skills:	Relevant certifications will be an added advantage Understanding of batch operations and 24 x 7 shift duty Able to work independently. Good communication skills.

 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

The candidate should be an engineering graduate or equivalent preferably in Electrical/Mechanical with good academic record from a recognized university/institution. He should have adequate experience of Power Sector at a senior level in a large organization of repute. 

Persons with experience in Planning, Erection, Operation and Maintenance of Thermal Power Stations would have an added advantage. 

Minimum qualification is relaxable in the case of internal candidates and Government officers with relevant and adequate background and experience.
